Payment Policies

2018-2019 Dance Season

TUITION

At the time of registration, FIRST and LAST month’s tuition will be due and the registration fee. The registration fee is $30 for the first child and $15 for each additional child. The registration fee is nonrefundable.
Tuition is due by the 15th of every month. Payments after the 15th will have a $10 late fee added onto their tuition for the month. If tuition is not paid by the 1st of the following month, an additional $15 late fee will be charged.
Every child receives a free dance costume for their recital when enrolled in September, October. After, November, the parent will have to pay for the child’s costume. If you drop classes prior to June, the fee for all costumes, shoes and any other balances will be billed.
Pro-rating tuition is unacceptable at the studio. The class prices are set and will not change. There will be a 6% discount if the year is paid in full at the start of the season, with no refunds unless there is an injury to the student preventing them to attend class for the remainder of the year, or if the family moves from the area. If you need financial assistance or need to work out a payment plan, please speak to our director.
We accept cash, check or credit. Any checks that are returned will result in a $30 fee. Credit cards will have an additional 3% convenience fee. An automatic payment plan is available. See the front desk for more details.
All students need to have a credit card or a bank routing number on file in order to register for classes. This ensures that payments will be made on time. The credit card on file must be active, if not your child will sit out of class until it is updated.
Any owed balances throughout the year will result in consequences, i.e. sitting out of class or dismissal. There will be a $25 drop fee assessed per class after November 15th. If we should have to go to court for an unpaid bill, the family will be responsible for the studios legal and filing fees.


CHRISTMAS RECITAL

Our studio hosts a Christmas recital. December 15/16 are our tentative rehearsal and recital dates. We require a $40 recital fee that covers your child’s costume and one ticket. This can be added to your bill at the beginning of the year and slowly paid off till December 1.
If your child decides they do not wish to perform in the recital, please inform the instructor by September.


END OF THE YEAR RECITAL

Our studio hosts an end of the year dance recital. Date, time, location will be announced at a later date. We require a $20 recital fee that covers your child’s recital trophy and their rehearsal at the venue the week of the recital.
Costumes will be ordered between October and January. One of our staff members will measure your child (bust, waist, hips, girth, and inseam)
Last minute costume orders between April-June will cost extra due to express shipment fees. If your child decides they do not wish to perform in the recital, please inform the instructor by January. Recital dances take a lot of time to prepare.

Costumes will be tried on during a class period but will only be released to take home once a parent has signed off that they did receive the costume. Tuition must be paid up to date in order to receive the costumes.
During the last two weeks of classes, all students must be present.
Dress rehearsals are MANDATORY. Times, dates, etc. will be given closer to the recital. No student is allowed to miss the schedule dress rehearsal for any reason (sports, parties, etc…) It is unfair to those who are there and have put such hard work into these routines. If any student misses dress rehearsal for an UNEXCUSED REASON, they will NOT be allowed to participate in the recital.
Tickets will be sold at the studio 
prior to the recital
. If there is an owed balance, parents/students are NOT allowed to purchase tickets until the balance is paid off.
Parents need to sign for ALL costumes in order for them to be released.

*Must be registered PRIOR to November 1, 2018 for costumes to be included. Registration done after that date (11/1/18) each costume will be an additional $50.00.

 

**Families with 3 or more children whose registration exceeds 6 classes a month, please see staff for pricing.

 

Costume fee is included in the monthly tuition rate. The costume is NOT OPTIONAL and is mandatory to enroll in any class.

 

Tuition CANNOT be pro-rated for any reason. We do not offer a daily class rate.
